The XDL-type starch vacuum drum filter is a next-generation starch filtration machine designed and developed by our company. Working principle
  During operation, the slurry in the tank, under vacuum suction, forms a pre‑coat of starch particles of a specified thickness on the outer surface of the rotating drum. Together with the filter cloth, this pre‑coat constitutes the filtration medium. The clarified filtrate passes through the pre‑coat and the filter screen, then exits via the suction pipe, distribution valve, and vapor–liquid separator. The drier cake on the drum’s outer surface is scraped off by a scraper. As the drum rotates, processes such as dewatering and discharge are completed.
